Named after: Rufus McAden, who owned the textile plant
Slogan: Christmas Town USA, after men's club began lighting the town in 1955.
Tradition: Each December sparkling lights turn McAdenville into a spectacular holiday display. Visitors drive and stroll Main Street surrounded by the sights and sounds of Christmas. The lights will show this year from Dec. 1 through Dec. 26. For more information call (704) 824-3190.
